Latest Technological Developements

 Hey gys ,

Welcome back to my blog and here I will be sharing few latest technological development happened .

LATEST TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT

There has been few technological development and some of us know about it and some of don't so for everyone I would like to share the LATEST TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT so let's begin....

Few of them are :-

Computing Power.
Smarter Devices.
Datafication.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Extended Reality.
Digital Trust.
3D Printing.
Genomics.

So I am going to talk about 3D PRINTING & GENOMICS

3D PRINTING

3D printing or additive manufacturing is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. It can be done in a variety of processes in which material is deposited, joined or solidified under computer control, with material being added together, typically layer by layer.

In recent years, 3D printing has developed significantly and can now perform crucial roles in many applications, with the most common applications being manufacturing, medicine, architecture, custom art and design, and can vary from fully functional to purely aesthetic applications.

PROS N CONS OF 3D PRINTING

PROS
  • Flexible Design.
  • Print on Demand.
  • Cost Effective.
  • Ease of Access.

CONS
  • Limited Materials.
  • Large Volumes.
  • Reduction in Manufacturing Jobs.
  • Design Inaccuracies.

Now let's talk about Genomics

GENOMICS

What is Genomics ?
Genomics is an all-encompassing term that takes into account all the DNA in a person's or organism's genome – both the genes that code for proteins and the non-coding regions. It looks at how genes are expressed and the interplay between different genes.

What is genomics used for?
Genomics is the study of the total or part of the genetic or epigenetic sequence information of organisms, and attempts to understand the structure and function of these sequences and of downstream biological products.
PROS N CONS OF GENOMICS
PROS
Identify patients who are at high risk of developing certain conditions and better plan for treatments
This approach could be particularly helpful in proactively treating cognitive or behavioral disorders before people show signs of disease.
CONS
The biggest disadvantage of whole genome sequencing (WGS) is that the process generates data on a large scale. The vast volumes of data generated requires additional storage capacity and more time to analyze. This increases the cost as well as the time required for analysis
That's all for today's post see u in the next post!
